CHRISTOFLE SILVERSMITH - CENTER PIECE WITH DOLPHINS - CIRCA 1870

IMPORTANT CENTER PIECE in silvered bronze. Of oval shape, it is on a terrace base decorated with nets. In its extremities, prolonging wide shells, two sirens blow in horns. On the front and behind, there is a cartouche surrounded with two dolphin’s heads meant to be. In the center there is a lyre welcoming two children seating and thinking. The summit in wide is a basket.
